Payments and Shipping FAQ
Thank you for supporting The Good Beans coffee shop in San Salvador, El Salvador. This page provides with information on how our payments system works with credit cards (VISA an Mastercard) and with Bitcoin over the Lightning Network.
Credit Card Payments
VISA and MasterCard only
Credit card payments are processed by Wompi, a local payment processor that connects Shopify to our bank. This service is only available in Spanish, we apologize but its the bank's service and it's completely our of our hands so we have provided this guide on navigating it.
Once you have selected the products you want and added your address you'll get to this screen:
Select "Wompi El Salvador", after you click "Pay Now" you'll be redirected to Wompi, the payment processor.
On the right-hand side where it says "Forma de Pago" (Payment method), select "Tarjeta de Credito/Debito" (Credit or Debit Card)
Clicking on "Tarjeta de Credito/Debito" will open up the options below called Información Complementaria, click the second option "Si no has pagado antes con Wompi, ingresa los datos de tu tarjeta" (If you haven't paid with Wompi before, enter your card information).
Once you click on "Ingresa los datos de tu tarjeta" the form will appear:
From left to right, top to bottom, these are the transactions for the fields:
Numero de Tarjeta - Card number
CVV - Code on back of card
Mes vencimiento - Expiration Month
Año vencimiento - Expiration Year
Nombre - Name on card
Apellidos - Last Name on card
Email - Email
Pais y Region - Country and Region/State
Ciudad - City or Town
Codigo Postal - Zip or Post Code
Telefono - Phone
Dirección - Billing Address
Accept the Wompi terms and conditions and click the Blue "PAGAR" (Pay) button.

Bitcoin over Lightning Network
Please ensure your Bitcoin wallet is Lightning Network enabled, examples include: Wallet of Satoshi, Muun, Bitcoin Beach Wallet, BlueWallet, and more. This can also be paid by services such as Strike or even CashApp.
If you have a Layer 1 (On-Chain) Bitcoin Wallet and require a L1 wallet address feel free to contact us with the form on the website, Twitter @goodbeansthe or email goodbeans.sv@gmail.com and we'll gladly help.
If you have a Lightning wallet with funds available, once you have selected your items and your shipping address click on Bitcoin with Tiankii Pay:
When you click on "Pay Now", the following screen will appear, click on the orange button:
When you have clicked on the Pay with Bitcoin orange button, a Lightning Network QR code will appear, scan it with your wallet, accept the payment and it's paid!
Good Beans ships directly from our store in San Salvador to your door, worldwide. We've shipped to over 25 countries so far and every single order has arrived except for cases detailed below! We ship through Correos de El Salvador (El Salvador Post) and provide a tracking number with each order. Shipping prices include a $1 packing and handling fee per parcel.
Important notice: once a parcel departs El Salvador neither us nor the local post office have any control over the parcel and sadly there is no system available to change addresses or have any impact on the parcel whatsoever. The World's postal system is managed by the UPU Universal Postal Union, a division of the UN United Nations. For any inquiries after the parcel has departed from El Salvador please check with your local post office or national postal system. We are not responsible for any customs related delays or issues as those are the responsibility of the receiving party's national government and we have no influence on those.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Shipping rates are global and determined by the UPU - Universal Postal Union and the carriers, we have no control over those. Shipping is currently not available to Australia, Belize, Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Venezuela. All other countries have available shipping.
We have also halted all shipments to New Zealand due to the New Zealand's Ministry of Primary Industries Biosecurity division routinely returning or damaging parcels.
PLEASE NOTE IN THE STANDARD SHIPPING METHOD THE MAXIMUM SHIPPING WEIGHT IS 2 KG (4LB) PER PARCEL WHICH EQUALS TO 4 BAGS OF COFFEE. IN STANDARD SHIPPING IF YOU ORDER MORE THAN 4 LBS WE NEED TO SEND MORE THAN 1 PARCEL.

500-999g
1000-1999g
Our coffees come in 1lb (450g) bags.
The most economical shipping per lb is 4 lbs in standard shipping as it costs the same to ship as 3 lbs.
TRANSIT TIMES:
The transit time depends on many factors and it's mostly out of our control and in the hands of the world's postal system, having said that we have shipped hundreds of parcels to over 25 countries and we know what to expect for most. These do vary but most parcels arrive within the following timeframes:
US East Coast: 8-10 days
US West Coast: 10-12 days
UK: 20-24 days
EU: 18-22 days
Rest of the World: 20-30 days
These times are an estimate and not guaranteed, but so far the longest a parcel has ever taken was 34 days to Asia. If you'd like faster shipping options EMS - Express Mail Service is available, contact us for a quote.

SHIPPING RATES WORLDWIDE FOR STANDARD POST WITH TRACKING:
The system is set up to calculate the shipping automatically based on your address and the amount of coffee bags.
